how to send a link half way down a page?

Every post has a number. First you need to determine which post you would like to refer to and obtain the number for that post.

http ://forum.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=0000000#post0000000

Without the space after http, and replace the 0000000 with the actual post number.

It is a thread link, so you find the post number and then wrap it in - replace the () with square brackets.

(post=postnumber)link text(/post)
