How to make backup of copy protected movie?

Newbie Forum Discuss, How to make backup of copy protected movie? at Community forum; Hi, I'm new and I'm looking for software that will bypass the copy protection, as I would like to make a legitimate backup of a movie for personal use, but I can't copy because of the copy protection.     i got told that alcohol was realy good and it can get past most protection. i have not tested it yet.due to that i am still waitig for my dvd burner

    alcohol 120% is not a dvd backup program
