How Do I Make My DVD Region Free

Hi all :-),

I need some help making my NEC DVD RW ND-3520A region free.
Its a great DVD drive and I have had no trouble with it but I have only 2 region changes left on it. I mainly burn cd's and dvd's with this drive so I need to make it region free.

There is "search" function, with it you would probably have found the following easily:

I dont want to sound dumb...... but do I download the firmware and install it on my computer and will it then make my DVD region free?

That's what "RPC1" stands for.

Read the mini-Faq on the page I linked to! Flashing with this firmware will void your warranty.

This question has been answered over and over. Use AnyDvD and you will never have to worry about it.
