My question is, should I lay all mp3 files flat directly, or can i organize them in folders? is all car mp3 players able to recognize folders and read from inside them? |

| Hi, some car players will work with folders, some others won't. So, just ask your friend to have a look into the manual of the unit, this will avoid any trouble with playback. Michael

| Most modern "all-in-one" mp3 devices work with a single hardware chip that includes a ATA-controller and on-the-fly mp3 decoding. So yes, most modern mp3 devices can deal with folders. In order to test this i suggest using a cd-rewritable medium and start testing away
