Newbie Forum Discuss, ?Editing VOB files from Media Center? at Starters forum; I am trying to edit out comercials from VOB files I recorded with Windows Media Center. I can't find any help with my Windows documentation. Any suggestions?

You can cut out commercials with VideoRedo TV Suite, but it isn't a free program. There is a free trial available.

I have used dvrmstoolbox in the past to cut out commercials from dvrms files created in WMC, but not .vob files. Dvrmstoolbox is free to use.

Believe it or not, the new Windows Movie Maker can do all of this very easily!

Just drag drop and split to edit the commercials out...

If you have vista home premium or ultimate you already have the program!

And if you have xp you can download it for free!
