| I didn't think that was possible with equipment available in the US, but (hopefully for you) someone may prove me wrong there.

| You can open the VTS_01_1 vob file inside the Video_TS folder with MediaInfo or Gspot video utility and find the specifications of the file. NTSC should be 720 x 480 resolution, 29.97 fps, and using AC3, DTS or PCM audio at 48khz. PAL is normally 720 x 576, 25 fps and can use AC3, DTS, MP2 or PCM audio at 48khz. It is possible to convert PAL to NTSC, but it usually means reencoding the video. (patch method is hit or miss).
