| Hi all, This is my first post and yes, I am a NEWBIE! I have an LG Divx-enabled DVD Player for my TV. I would like to know if it's possible to copy over any amount of divx / avi files to a DVD-RW and watch them without having to 'finalize' the disc. I tried it once with Roxio and the player didn't even recognize the disc. If it is possible, can someone send me in the right direction? Thanks in advance! Larry |

| I don't believe there is any way you can do what you want to do. I think dvd technology says you have to finalize the disc to read it in another player. I don't use dvd-rw but even if you close the disc, you should be able to erase and use it again if thats the problem. |

| With any RW media finalising only really means that the disk can be read by any other optical device. I'm doing this all the time & reusing the media just as Sikoone suggests. So finalise the DVD-RW & enjoy your divx films on your standalone player. |

| Your burner software would have already finalize the disk for you, so I wouldn't worry too much about it. It just means your LG doesn't read DVD-/+RW(s). Quote:
