create dvd iso image

Newbie Forum Discuss, create dvd iso image at Starters forum; I have been able to use DVD Decrypter to rip dvd movie into iso image and use fantom cd to make virtual drive so that I can play the ripped dvd. But I want to scale down the vob files and cut out trailer and menus etc. I tried to

I have been able to use DVD Decrypter to rip dvd movie into iso image and use fantom cd to make virtual drive so that I can play the ripped dvd. But I want to scale down the vob files and cut out trailer and menus etc. I tried to rip just the movie portion and create ifo and bup files using ifoedit. When I tried to make iso image from ifoedit, I get error message that imglib.dll is missing. So I resort to using Nero, and I dragged all the vob and ifo and bup files into the video_ts folder. But when I tried to burn the iso image, I get error message and the log shows:

DVD-Video files reallocation started
File size is not a multiple of a logical block size (2kb)
DVD-Video files reallocation failed

Can someone help me and tell me what I did wrong and how I can create iso image (either ifoedit or nero is fine) so that the virtual dvd can be read correctly?

Did you use the movie or file method in smartripper to rip just the movie part of the dvd? If so, what else did you do before burning it into an iso image?
