CloneDVD error: source data is to large

I've had CloneDVD for a year or so now but just recently have begun having a problem burning DVDs. When I insert the blank DVD for burning I get an error message informing me that the "source data is to large". Never had this problem before till just the last couple months or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Re: Help Please!

check the setting at the bottom of the opening screen. (the screen after you choose whether you're cloning, or copying one or more titles)

make sure it's set to DVD-5 if you're burning to a single layer disc.

Re: Help Please!

you were set at dvd+r DL. that means dual layer media which is twice the capacity of the disc you're trying to burn. DVD-5 is your standard blank dvd

I can assure you that will solve your problem.

Re: Help Please!

Sorry to but in this thread and go off topic, but what do you think is better for burning, Nero or CloneDVD?

Re: Help Please!

The burning app doesn't make a great deal of difference, it's more down to the burner & the media as to what quality you get.

Personally I use Nero or ImgBurn for movies & Roxio for music CDs & get great results with all of them.
