Hi!
It seems like I have caught the dreaded CD media eating Bug on one disc of MP3 files. On the outer edge there is an area of 1/4 square inch of random brown spots between the plastic layers which I assume stops the CD drive reading the disc. No other damage is noticable. Drive is a Sony 2X. Is there a way to bypass CD initialisation and read files directly off disc?
Any advice greatly appreciated.

One drive only and no problems reading or burning any other C
D. The software needed will bypass CD initialisation and scan any sector of the disc as required. Big ask????
Thanks for contact.
Mitch
