Can i play CDG on my PC?

Hey everybody, newbie here.

Is there any software that will allow me to play CDG (Karaoke) discs on my PC?

I am running XP Pro on a P3 with a Liteon SOHW-812s with the latest firmware.

I can copy CDG ok with Nero6 which work fine in a dedicated player but only get music, no lyrics through the PC.

Any help, gratefully accepted.

Just tried the demo version of MicroStudio from your link jssilva, when installed it told me my drive is not CDG compatable!
This can't be right as i can copy CDG wit it ok and Nero info ticks the CDG box.
Is there any other software that allows you to play CDG?

I have not yet tried to play a CD+G from a DVD-ROM however I am able to play the files when they are located on my pc's hard drive. I used a plug-in for Windows Media Player.

When I get off of work today (In about 6Hr 30 Min) I'll be happy to send you the link for it.

Sorry if I didn't give a more thorough answer yesterday, I was in a hurry then.

First you'll need to determine if your burner(s) and reader(s) can actually read the subcode where the graphics are contained on a CD+G disc.

The site I mentioned would have an answer for you about your drive(s)

You can only Play, and/or Rip the subcode (graphics of CD+G) with a compatable burner/reader.

Once you have done that, there are several ways to Play a CD+G disc or karaoke disc on a computer.
1. You can buy WinCDG, it will actually play a CD+G disc on a compatable drive.

2. You can rip the tracks with CDRWin and then play the resulting '.BIN' files with a program called DART Karaoke Studio CDG

3. Once you have your 'BIN' files, ripped using CDRWin, you can convert them into a pair of files called mp3+g using mp3+g toolz. Once you have your pairs of files you can play them, (with graphics displayed), in Winamp with the CDGplugin installed.
The pairs of files must be named exactly the same and have the extensions as in this example:
Our Lady Peace - Is Anybody Home.cdg
Our Lady Peace - Is Anybody Home.mp3

CDRWin is a burning proggy that has to be purchased as does
DART Karaoke Studio CDG

hello , im from Portugal .... and im looking for a software so i can record cdg files to a cd , soo i can use it on a dvd player .... i found such a soft ( Power Cdg Burner ) but not the unlock code ... can you help me , by telling me other way to achieve my goal ?? thanks in advance ....
