| First post from a newbie and hoping for some insight. Recently purchased a Panasonic PV-GS150 and after shooting some footage wanted to try to burn it to dvd. Installed the Motion DV software that came with it, and also already have Nero6 on the pc. First I captured in Nero and all was well. When I tried to burn (twice) it got all the way to the final seconds of the burn and a window popped up that said unable to burn on the media. Was using Phillips and Maxell dvd-r. Burner is NEC 3550. Seemed to have a successful capture in Motion DV as well but couldn't find the file after completion. Hopefully it's just something small I'm overlooking. Be gentle in your response, as technology seems to be passing me by. Been around since 8-track or cassete were the only choices! Need help as some colleges are asking for video of my son and I'm trying to get something together to send out ASAP. Many Thanks. |

| Please post the Nero log (or the file Nerohistory.log from the Nero folder) - but please remove serials first!

| I would update Nero first to 6.6.1.4. Then, maybe use better media. Have you tried to scan the DVDs for errors using Nero CD DVD Speed?
