blank media test?
I have a mix of CD-R, DVD-R AND DVD-RW media. Some appear to have been damaged, perhaps by an interrupted write?
Is there a way or software to test the disks other then by trial and error? (putting the disks one by one in the drive, till I find one that works..)
Explorer doesn't tell me whats wrong but shows the disk as full? (no free space)
I understand that only RW disks have to be formatted? The others should work straight out of the box?
Thanks for help.

Quality testing of media is covered here. Your drive must be compatible with error reporting software, though.
