audio missing burning mpg to dvd
I am using ashampoo 9 and burning a mpg movie file to dvd...the dvd video comes out perfect and plays on our TV dvd system but no audio exists
cant figure out why the audio is deleted?
when I play the file in windows media player and the audio player in shampoo the audio works fine
any idea why this is happening?
should I convert the mpg to some other format?
also I have the same movie file in AVI format and it does the same thing when burning the DVD
any software I can download to do this?
my computer is a Toshiba satellite using Vista

Re: audio missing burning mpg to dvd
Are you burning the mpeg file straight to a dvd? Or are you converting to dvd-video, then burning?
Mpeg files come in all shapes and sizes. DVD-Video has fairly stringent requirements on resolution, frame rate, and type of audio used in it. Many mpeg files that play on computers, simply don't work on stand alone dvd players without converting/authoring to dvd-video standards.
You could try converting the mpeg file or the avi file to dvd video in DVDFlick. It is free to use.
