aspi for windows 7 missing

im trying to burn using nero 7 on windows 7.
ASPI is missing on system.
Is there anywhere i can find one for windows 7.

Hi and Welcome!

at first, ASPI is not needed at all for at least 10 years, apart from some ancient applications.
Secondly, Nero 7 is not compatible with Windows Vista and 7.

Either you need to buy the upgrade to Nero 9, or use another burning application.

A good solution is ImgBurn. It works with Win 7 (including 64bit), and it is very reliable. The best: it is free.

where do i get imgburn?
does it do cd/dvd making and data?
and will it run through dvd shrink?

You can download ImgBurn here: www.imgburn.com

You can burn any type of data, or video, including blu ray. You can also make iso files with it or cue files to make music cds.

If you need to burn automatically with ImgBurn in DVDShrink, you'll need the version of DVDShrink that has that capability. You can find the executable in the link found in this thread: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/664041
Follow the instructions in that thread on how to install the new executable for DVDShrink.
