Anyone here used a PS2 SlideCard, Magic Key, or Slim Kit to play copied PS2 games?

I have been searching for an alternative to opening my PS2 and installing a modchip for fear of permanently damaging it, and I came across slide cards, magic keys, and slim kits that look like discs that you can just install onto your PS2 to allow you to play copies of PS2 games. It seems simple enough can anyone here tell me if they've used or have one of these, and know if they work and if so where's the best place to purchase one. I've checked Modchips.com and a few other places just don't know much about their selling history. I'd really appreciate your input, thanks. __________________

Actually those discs could harm your ps2 even more if you're not careful. The process works by first putting in the swap disc, then opening the drive and inserting the game/backup. __________________

Personally i use a fliptop and a hard drive to play backups. You can also ask advice over at http://www.ps3news.com/ __________________

I been using Slide card with Swap Magic 3 for about 2 years. Works great. Don't buy a modchip unless you know how to solder. __________________
