Newbie Forum Discuss, add some minutes. at Starters forum; .. anybody who can help me how to add some time on the movie i downloaded? see., the thing is that the only subtitle i got in english is lagging for like 2 minutes in the film. when i play the movie on vlc player., the subs appear late and

.. anybody who can help me how to add some time on the movie i downloaded? see., the thing is that the only subtitle i got in english is lagging for like 2 minutes in the film. when i play the movie on vlc player., the subs appear late and so i have to edit something. perhaps the film or the subs itself. how's this?

how do i edit or add something to have them synchronized? please help. thanks.

Trouble is as I see it, the whole thing has been rendered and made into a file before you even downloaded it. If the audio was out of synch then there'd be something you could do, but unless you can get an editable version with the subtitles on their own track I'd say you're stuck. Of course, I've never ceased to be amazed at what the guys on this forum come up with. Could you play a sample before downloading? Were the sibtitles in synch then? But even if they were I'm blowed if I can think of what could have happened during the download. Big help, aren't I ? Sorry. regards P.S

Try and not use the word DownLoaded around here! People get very nervous and stressed when they hear the word and you might get

I take it your talking about a free public home made Movie you have the problem with! You can try using the Search at the top of the page! IF my memory is correct the subject about problems with subtitle has been covered and you might find some info on it.

That sounds not that very much legal to me, huh.
Please more info on the movie name or subs.

I agree it's questionable, chaps, but let's assume there are no copyright issues until the evidence presents itself...

Subtitle Workshop is said to be good for fixing the problems so described.
