Good choices in media, as far as anyone can tell they look like the real stuff. Whether you can "trust" that seller is anyone's guess. Start by making a small order, go from there.

I can vouch for Genesys DTP. All legit stuff there; I've ordered YUDEN000T03 and something else I can't remember from the seller.

They are real big on EBay. They overcharge for shipping. Supermediastore has free shipping with the same media. But I do not think they ship overseas. They are real Tys though.

Don't get the 4x DVD-R DL. I would recommend DVD+R DL if you want the best compatibility.

As the original poster is from India, I guess Rima (which otherwise is one of the first choices when it comes to TY media) doesn't offer reasonable international shipping rates?

It's the product code for Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL, but Verbatim don't distinguish between country of origin in their product/reorder numbers, so it could be Made in Singapore or Made in India - there's no way to tell just from the reorder number.

I have seen this in a shop in Germany (MediaMarkt in Freiburg)

for 10-spindles of 2,4x DVD+R DL:

On the side you can read:
- if Made in Singapore: Verbatim#43562 0704-20
- if Made in India: . . . . Verbatim#43562 0704-03

Both 10-spindles were sold at the same price with the same barcode and on the same shelves.

All other packages of Verbatim DVD DL (DVD+D DL 2,4x in jewel cases, +R 8x and -R DL) sold in the same shop
were only made in Singapore.

For example the "new look" jewel case (colors purple and blue) of a 2,4x DVD+D DL
Made in Singapore
has the indication: Verbatim#43516 0701-20

There is not anymore the word "Reorder" on this new look packages of Verbatim

But if you have a look at a one-line shop like here:
http://www.paderbit.com/product_info...9508128873dcf4
you still find:
Quote:
DVD+R 8.5Go Verbatim 2.4x Cakebox (10)
Vitesse en écriture: 2.4x
Fabricant: Verbatim
Verbatim Reorder No. 43562

Thanks for the info on Verbatim product numbers, franz99.

I have only seen the first part of the product number (e.g. 43516) in online shops; the rest of the product number, which might distinguish between Country of Origin, may be available on the packaging but not when ordering online AFAIK.

The product numbers are different in different regions of the world, and the 95310 is a Verbatim product number for North America (and possibly other regions) but not for Europe.

I would suggest using DVD5 media instead, they are way cheaper than DL.
