Just seems like run-of-the-mill TYG02 for 2006 and 2007 (PIE not quite as low and uniform as some of the older TYG02, but still well within spec). -

Hmmm that PIE comment got me thinking. Some people can get 6000 or less total PIE with some TY discs but I have never with any disc got under 10k PIE. I wonder if their scanning drives just show lower errors with really good burns.
Anyways, nice scans there Mega.

For even nicer QS i think 4x burn with LG 4163 would do the job. This was my main combo a while back but then the nice MCC004 came

Yeah same thinking here, I never worry to much about the PIE, I don't like to see it over 100k but even when it is I don't have playback problems.
Yup people have to realize some drives are more forgiving scanners than others.
I should have scanned it in my BenQ but to late now the disc went to the shredder lol

I take it that you use the create disc function for testing new drives when making reviews?Quote:Originally Posted by MegaDETHI can't save all my cdspeed make disc DVD's I just don't have the space with

Or you just like to test with many media also? Seems like a waste lol. All my tests are done with real images hehe.

Yes we use the create disc function in most cases, I know it pains me to waste media both good and bad
