Re: Medical CD-Rs?

There have been several threads about Verbatim (and possibly other brands) medical discs, the latest here and a more informative thread is this one. If you use the search function with the terms medidisc or medical you'll find plenty more.

They are aimed for the medical market and may be tougher and/or longer lasting than regular discs. Think of them as archival grade for patient records and such, with some sort of hard coating or treatment. MediDisc CD-Rs should be the same or closely similar as their DVD counterparts, so the threads that aramcheck refers to are still relevant.
