| I'd personally go for some Verbatim, they are much cheaper and you know what you are getting... http://www.rima.com/Merchant2/mercha...ory_Code=DVPVB |

| The problem with buying MAM-A DVD media is, as those threads stated, the MAM-A discs often use stampers made by Moser Baer instead of using one of their own. MAM-A today just isn't the same company which was first spun out of Mitsui a few years back.

| MAM-A dual layer these days is MBIL dual layer with RICOH MID ! Made by MBIL using RICOH stampers. THe only thing MAM-A does is customizing of these disc's if there non silver. Verbatim/Mitsubishi chemicals (MKM) made in singapore is definately the beter "supported" disc. So I would suggest going with verbatim/mitsubishi chemicals the made in singapore ones. I do have to say however that MAM-A seems to be able to get quite decent RICOH MID dual layer media from MBIL. Much better consistency as what I've seen with the european homebrands. Still the ones packaged under RICOH seem to be superior compared to the MAM-A ones. The single layer MAM-A stuff is MAM-A made with MBIL code. I personally would recommend verbatim silver media over
