    Hi peeps,

I saw MAM-E Mitsui DVD-R 4X in the online cdfreaks shop
I was wondering if they are any good with the Plex708
also I was wondering if they serve well for all purposes:
    - playable in standalone dvd players
    - playable in ps2 (games & video)
    - to save data on
    - to store important stuff for a long time

I hope someone has some experience with these and would like to help me out here

    thanks in advance

This particular media has already been mentioned by me a couple of times @the forum.

I too was surprised when seeing it for the very 1st time. So it's a fact.

The MAM-E Mitsui sold in the CDFreaks shop is not TY. Others have reported problems with it, so it's best to stay away from it, IMHO.

The mitsui DVD-R discs that is made by mitsui is garbage - even worse than princo, got a load of them here.

Works acceptable in pioneer DVR-106. But sucks in Plextor PX-708A, LG GSA-4040B and all Lite-On's.
