| Depends if the Fujifilm discs are the older ones, made in Japan by Taiyo Yuden, or the newer ones, made in Taiwan by Prodisc (apparently). The TYs and the Verbatims are probably about the same, but the Prodiscs will be worse. |

| Yes if you live in Europe and could find those made by Fujifilm in Germany they are really good. In Europe many of the Fujifilm spindles is made by ritek and pretty good as well. In US you may be lucky and find spindles made by Taiyo Yuden that is simply outstanding. I've also seen spindles made by prodisc, and these are varying in quality, if you are lucky you may get discs from a good batch. And there is some meade by CMC Magnetics which is not so good. Verbatim datalifeplus is also good, but performs best at 40X or 32X write speed. 48/52X seems to be pushing these discs to far.......
