| Hey all, My friend recently picked up some blank Phillips DVD+R DL discs on sale from Future Shop, but when we tried them in my computer, they were not recognized by the burning program (Clone DVD 2) I have on my computer, and when my friend tried it on his drive, it did not recognize it had a disc in the drive. Both drives are theoretically able to burn to DL discs. What gives? |

| Welcome to the forum ![]() What are the makes amd models of the two drives you have? And the rated speed of the Philips discs? Can you download and CD-DVD Speed, put one of the Philips discs in (try both drives), and go to the "Disc Info" tab. What I'm after is the MID info from there.
