Thanks, I'll look for those brands. All I've found in the local shops has been 650 MB discs.

AVOID the NASHUA CD-RWs

I had terrible luck with the nashua CD-RWs. I ended up losing about a GB of data because of those crappy discs. Nanya makes 700MB discs that I have had good luck with.

Unless you look for Ultraspeed discs, Verbatim also makes 700 MB CD-RWs

Cool! I like Verbatim. I've never had a problem out of their CDRs.

As long as you avoid the valulife, you should get good CD-Rs. sometimes the valulife is made by moser baer, in which case the CD will deteriorate in only a year or so. All of the Datalife plus are made by mitsubishi chemical, which are decent CD-Rs.

Verbatim "made in Ireland" ,Smartbuy (Prodisc brand) ,Memorex (Ritek) ,Philips (CMC,Ritek) are also very reliable for me !
Cheaper of all ,"Smartbuy" ,Philips (CMC) -1,5 euro each in jewel case --Notice: CMC not crap at all in Philips CD-RW disks !!

I've never seen the 700mb Verbatim's for sale in North America.

I highly recommend the Jensen 10x cd-rw's I found @ Circuit City in the USA.

They burn fine @ 12x in a LTR-52246S.

I'd like to see a 24x/32x 700mb Verbatim cd-rw !

Don't buy Memorex Ultra Speed CD-RW unless you plan on recording at 10x! Just got 3.2 million C2s on a brand new disc. It is error free only if burned at 10x.

In oz, best are probably 4x to 10x 700mb shintaro cdrws.

Datastream 12x cdrws are simply appalling (burnt cdrw is rarely even readable, never mind the error count).

No ultra-speed 700mb cdrws available here (but can get 650mb verb dlp ultras).

Ricoh 4-10x TYPE80/700MB (CDRW80-10XCW). Good for 12x.

Made in Japan. Surely these are made by Ricoh themselves

Like Verbatim cdrws(always had good luck with them either 650 or 700). TDK (used only 4x 650)after 20 times started creating errors.
