Hi, I have a DVD saved on my PC in the seperate files, on one of the VOBS on a change between 2 episodes the audio is ahead of the video by about 3 seconds, i have managed to extract the audio track using virtualdubmod and edit it to fit properly, is there any way i can put this back into the same VOB file or is there another way to do this?

You need to simply demux out the audio from the offending VOB file (VOBEdit can do that), then use AC3 Delay Corrector to apply the correct offset and re-author the dvd.

VirtualDUBMOd only saves as AVI's so is useless for syncing VOB (MPEG2) files.

Re-author as in recreate the menu etc too? fairly new to this and can't recreate the menu although i would like to keep it

Okay, try just reauthoring the VTS set by itself using TMPGEnc DVD Author, then reaplace just the old VTS_0x_1.vob set with the new ones keeping the exact same names. Do NOT replace the VTS_0x_0.vob with the new one nor any of the ifo or bup file. Then run IfoEdit, load in the ifo file for that VOB set, click on GetVTS button, answer YES to any popup windows and exit. Now check it for sync.

It seems to me a bad ripping. Why simply you don't rip again these files? It's surely easier (and faster) than to do any reauthoring.
