HD conversion to DivX wmv etc?

| bought a High Definition camcorder recently, however for some stupid reason they do not include HD software so cant capture to computer. I knew HD is still fairly new so might have software problems. But got it so I can have top quality archive matreial which can be used later, when HD is more widespread. In the meantine wanted to use the HD material and convert to normal files like DivX, wmv, etc. But not sure if this is possible as I have no software for HD? Is it possible to convert HD material down to DV or DivX, wmv,etc? |
