Combining 2 Episode DVD-5s onto 1 DVD-9

I have a bunch of episode DVDs I made by splitting the original DVD-9s onto DVD-5s (with DVD-Lab). Two episodes each. I no longer have the originals. Now I want to put edit them a bit with DVDRemake (add a chapter here, delete a title/credit sequence there), then combine them so I can put 4 episodes on each DVD-9, and burn them.

Right now I plan to use DVDRemake to merge them, but I was wondering if there was anything new out there that might make the job easier? DVDRemake takes a while. And it would be nice to have something better than the menu DVDRemake adds, which is just "Disc 1, Disc 2." Something where I could add the names of the episodes, maybe change the background, etc.

I know I'll probably wind up using DVDRemake, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

Unfortunately, you have run up against one of our rules for the forum. If your original disks were commercially made, and you no longer have them, we cannot help you with any backups you may have made, as you have lost the original license for that material.

Check our guidelines for copyright protected media: http://club.myce.com/f34/guidelines-...terial-316049/

If you have a question, best to put it in quickly, as I will close this thread in just a few minutes. If you don't come back to the thread before then, feel free to send me a pm.

Okay, but I still think the question is worth answering on its technical merits. I have some similar projects I'd like to do that don't have any commercial or legal issues, since they're original content. Or should I just start another thread, when the time comes?

I think it would be best to start a new thread when you get to one of those projects.

Though I have to tell you, there aren't too many of us around here who use DVDRemake. Daemonicus is one of the few I know of, and he rarely shows up anymore.

Closing this thread now.
