| How can I write a bootable CD ISO to a Hard Drive? The goal here is to be able to run an install of linux w/ out a CDrom or network connection If I extract the ISO to a Hard Disk will it be bootable? My guess is no.. because it will look to find a filesystem and if its NTFS or NFS, RISER, etc. it will then look for either boot.ini or a boot kernel or an Init string of some sort.. is there a way I can tell it to use the the bootable CD's install kernel? sorry if this is off topic here but I don't know where else to turn |
