Where can i find a program to play *.str files

yeah, i was wondering the same thing, Because i extracted a duke nukem game iso and some files are .str. "format factory" is probably the best free file converter. but it wont convert .str for me. let me know if you have any luck.

Well, found on google some info on .str files on this website

http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/str

I saw there that they have mentioned some programs that can open this type of files so maybe those can help you with this little problem you're having.

Oh , just found this one as well though dunno how reliable it is:

Maybe you'll find the info you need on these websites, dunno what else to say.
