Software to print on CD/DVD

I have recently bought a Canon PIXMA IP8500 which can print directly onto discs. The CD/DVD printing software that comes with the printer will only let me change the inner circle size to -10mm. I'm printing on Verbatim Full Face DVD's and with a -10mm inner circle, it leaves a white border in the center of the disc. I need some software that will let me reduce the inner circle to less than -10mm. I have Adobe Photoshop CS2, but can't work out if it can do what I want.

Gary in CD lableprint go to file/select paper and define the inner and outer settings for the discs you have. Save the profile with the name of the discs or anything that takes your fancy. After your first print carefully examine the image and edit the settings if needed. I have an IP 5000 and get stunning results.

CD Labelprint will only go down to -10mm. I need some software that will reduce the inner circle further.

Edit: Sorry! Disregard my last post, as I have just realised that you can reduce the inner circle further.

Epson Print on CD/DVD comes with the R series printer from epson, Nero suite has DVD labeling software in it.

Heck i have had a Pixma MP760 for some time now and i have JUST now found out how to get the middle circle down to the disk size.

Hi i have the same problem but with the outside of the dvd, cant get the white line to disapear, have tried everything including what the second post suggests but cant get rid of the tiny white line? anyone with any good software ideas to print on dvd? i have cannon PIXMA IP8500

With the Canon CD/Label Print software, after you click print the first time, you should get a pop up screen. Look for "Print Position" and check the box and adjust the values.

Top:
Move the entire printing area by entering a numerical value. A positive value will move the print down, while a negative value will move it up.


Left:
Move the entire printing area by entering a numerical value. A positive value will move the print right, while a negative value will move it left.
