Problem with nero 7 or possibly vista not sure

If anyone can help me reply back, I've had Nero7 running with Vista since I got vista like 4 or 5 months ago with no problems all of a suddent I got the latest updates from microsoft on the 31/08/2007, no I didnt restart my comp right away because i was in the middle of doing things, but the next time I restarted i am having all sorts of problems with nero 7 now, i am not positive that these are related to each other. So heres the problem If I go to make my own dvd it will open up to the project editor but once I add video files to it and open them as soons as i go back to the project screen that will show the files in a list it says Nero Vision has stopped working with this problem details

now it also does it when i go to make an audio cd, but seems to work fine if i try to make a data dvd or data cd, i havent tried anything else really cause i dont use much of the other stuff, if anyone thinks they have a solution let me know, also i have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it and same thing although during the installation it keeps bringing up a black screen and I beleve the error it says is that the Reghelper has stopped working. if anyone knows anything that would be great. like i said the only thing that i know would of changed anything that has been updated would be the vista updates i got other then that i have not changed or updated anything else on the computer.
