| Hi all, I wanted to know if it was possible to dual boot two instances of Windows XP Pro. I have a 120 gig hdd partitioned 40 gig which i want just for games and the rest for Apps, burning and so on. Is it possible to dual XP for each partition? I want to be able to select which partition to boot from like 1 for Games and the other Xp for Apps. Thanks in advance.

| Yup you can do that. Just use a boot manager such as this one.

| Thanks for your reply Ssseth ill take a look at that software. I was looking at a site and found a piece of software called 'HyerOS 2003' and i was thinking of purchasing that, is this the same sort of thing?

| You don't need to buy anything. Just install XP twice. Each time select a different partition. Then boot from one, and go to the first partition drive (usually C  , and modify boot.ini file in root directory (it might be hidden) to change the description for each XP.The only disvantadge that you will find (you can avoid it with a boot manager which hides a partition) is that the second XP's root drive will be D: |
