Portable Drive

I have a 250gb external hardrive.
My winamp doesn't recognize it as a portable.
Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem?

Is Windows able to see correctly the disc? Can you read/write files on that disc?

hmm so the drive is working correctly.

Did you try to update Winamp to latest version? Maybe this solve

Yeah I would think it's probably a glitch in Winamp. Check for updates.
