is there a crack that makes the nero like every burner....and I know I can download every version of nero with a crack, but with a modem 56k6 that'll take ages..

Download the latstest version 5.0.3.0. maybe its working

Upgrade to Nero 5.5.x.x
Perhaps the drive is not supported by the version of Nero you are using.

You can check the version history to see what burners are supported by the different versions of Nero. Version 5.5 is worth the upgrade.
