| Hey, I recently downloaded both Office 2003 Professional and Office Enterprise 2007 from my school website through some sort of agreement. Now, i want to uninstall Office 2003, but when I do I get an error message: "Error 1402: Setup cannot open registry key. Verify that you have sufficeint permission to access the registry". Can anyone tell me what this means and how I can uninstall Office 2003, 2007 or both? |

| Office typically runs some components at startup. Open your startup folder or use something like MSCONFIG to stop them from loading, then reboot and try the uninstall again. |
| Make sure you are the administrator of the PC you are trying to uninstall or install Office 2003/2007 on. If you dont' have admin access you will not be able to uninstall as a guest.
