Microsoft launches Mouse without Borders Windows KVM software

Microsoft launches Mouse without Borders Windows KVM software.

Its safe to say that mega-technology giant Microsoft wouldn't be where it is today without help from its intelligent and innovative crew of employees. The proof in that statement is validated by taking a look at the "Microsoft Garage," which is a side projected created by Microsoft that gives free creative and developmental reign to its employees.

Methinks they should get it to work on linux & mac, release a free demo (with 10/15 minute session limit), then charge $2/PC for an activation code on their app store

Doesn't Microsoft have enough money already?!?!

That's a solid idea though. From the time I used the program, I see the potential to make money, especially as a 99 cent app type purchase. It is a really innovative and intuitive idea. We need more freeware like this.

Thanks for that! =)

@debro - Also, my head exploded on that last comment I think. Didn't know you meant Apple could charge money. They should totally do that. I'd pay a couple bucks for it at least.

I was not aware of x2x; however, I've been using open-source Synergy for well over a decade now.

Neat but useless.

I run two machines, one with Windoze and one with Linux.
I'll stick with my KVM switch. It doesn't care what OS is running and both machines don't have to be turned on for it to work.

sounds cool and, indeed, shows some dynamic thinking. worth trying between a PC desktop and a laptop for instance. It would be good if they implement it in the Home Sharing feature of Windows 7.
