Label Sofware for CD DVD`s
| General Software Discuss, Label Sofware for CD DVD`s at Software forum; Is their any software where you can drag a square picture and drop it on the CD or DVD without loosing any part of the picture and then print it. I guess this is the opposite of "squaring a circle" Thanks in advance Carthoris |

| I doubt that a labeling software can do this. Maybe with photoshop you can do this modification, then save the image on HDD and finally load the pic with the labeling software you use. |

| Do you mean like this? It´s basically drag-n-drop with CD-label Print And options to resize or distort and add text etc...pretty good I find.Don´t forget that you lose the bit where the hole is!

![]() Many and many people here had problems after some time with sticky labels. They can warp discs and make them unreadable. Can I suggest to check some of your oldest discs to see if still are readable? |
| My Disk`s go back more than 4 years. My earlier DVD`s were -R and the brand was Samsung BeAll. All have Stomper CD labels. That was the only brand used. They were purchased at Sam`s club and they were the only brand carried. I have been transfering them onto Ty DVD+R disks. My reader is a pioneer A104 (orginally burned the DVD`s) and my burner`s are Nec 3550 Litonit 165H6S and a Beng 1640. I have transfered over 125 DVD`s without a problem. If I use any other reader I run into problems. That is why other people have problems they do not have their orginal burner. Carthoris |
| Do you have some old discs without a label? I think that many people here will be interested to compare scans of discs with and without labels |
| I wonder why you came here with questions?

| I had no idea labels could possibly warp a disc . . . |

Not really noticable with CD's and a decent burner, but as DVD's are more compact the problem is a lot worse. And don't get me started on labels with creases in them.... |
