How to get IE7 toolbar back?

I have a computer with Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7 installed and can not gain access to the "Tools" options setting from the toolbar. In fact, the "Tools" button is missing and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I went to Microsoft's site and didn't find a workaround to this problem. Anyone here had to deal with this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

Re: How to get IE7 toolbar back?

There's a registry setting for getting the toolbar back permanently. I don't remember the exact entry so you'll have to google for it (unless someone else here has the information handy).

You can get it back temporarily by simply pushing the ALT key on your keyboard.

Thanks for the "alt" tip. That worked as a quick and easy method until something more permanent can be done.
