help burning images

I've been downloading movies and using dvd decrypter to burn them in both my pc's (one of them is a vaio laptop) and everything went well until a few weeks ago when my laptop (pioneer dvr-k12d) started to give some problems burning image files, when the process was like 75% or 99% it stops burning and freezes my laptop, then i've trid to use daemon tools to mount the image and nero recode to burn them and then the same situation appeared. I tought it was a hardware issue, but i've been burning music and mp3 cd's normally, and then i've created a movie on nero using some pieces of .avi files and then burned it on to a dvd+rw and the process was fine. I finally decide to format my lap's HD, thinking on a registry or OS failure, but the problem persists. the issue with dvd decrypter is also happening on my office's pc. i will appreciate if there's someone out there to help me with this issue. I saved some nero logs, but i dont know if i can post them here.
