DVDInfoPro gone flooey

I tried to fire up DVDInfoPro to check the ID of some media I have, and got a message "This version of DVDinfoPro is out of date" after which it crashed. So I went to the website and sure enough, there was a newer version. I DL'ed 3.17 and installed, and got the same behavior. I dunno WTF, it worked fine 2 days ago, the only software I installed since then is the latest version of Daemon Tools. has anyone else run into this? Thanks.

Yes,

Set your date back 2 months, run the program. Then set it back and it should be fine.

I tried that, still same thing. The freeware version works fine...

I saw that a few days ago myself. I uninstalled and put in an older version. Worked fine then just a short time ago the older versiion told me there was a newer version, down loaded and it works fine. I think he was between versions

I installed the free version, seems to work fine, but now I get messages "drive does not support bitsetting" when I was able to set the booktype several days ago. Must be that Sept 1 2004 bug.

It crashed my system a while ago since when I am not running it once.
