CenDyne has announced two new external DVD-R/RW drives. The drives both write to DVD minus discs and to CD-R and CD-RW discs. Unfortunately the press release does not tell us what speeds we can expect.
Both drives are able to connect to your PC using the USB2.0 interface and one of the drives adds besides that also the FireWire interface. The drives also have a buffer under protection technology and come with several software packages:
The first drive, the CenDyne DVD-R/RW External USB 2.0/FireWire drive, has a dual PC connection that is perfect for home or business users who will use the drive with multiple PCs, either via a FireWire or USB port. CenDyne is also now shipping the CenDyne DVD-R/RW External USB 2.0 drive for customers that will only use the drive with a PC via a USB connection. |
