| Daemon Tools or Alcohol 52%? (on virtual drive emulation) What do you guys prefer to use as a virtual CD drive emulator program (freeware)? Daemon Tools or Alcohol 52% free version? Please give pros and cons in efficiency (resource usage), stability, drive emulation capabilities. (I only want comparison with their capabilities in virtual CD emulation - so I chose Alcohol 52%, instead if 120% [which also has an image burning feature] and is free, like Daemon Tools.) |

| Re: Daemon Tools or Alcohol 52%? (on virtual drive emulation) As far as I know Alcohol uses Daemon Tools virtual drive technology , so they're the 'same'. |

| Re: Daemon Tools or Alcohol 52%? (on virtual drive emulation) I use Daemon Tools. I've stuck to version 3.47 as I initially had problems with v4. |

| Re: Daemon Tools or Alcohol 52%? (on virtual drive emulation) Flip of a coin. I have 120% on the desktop, but have opted for Daemon Tools on the laptop - even after they made 52% FREE. Pick one and stick with it unless you have problems. regards, gamma1
