DAEMON Tools 1.5 released

The Virtual CDROM (PHANTOM CDROM*) is working now! And also we have full support for all Securom versions. No more tricks - now every 1:1 copy of Diablo II should work! Emulation support for latest Safedisc version (Grand Prix 3) is not included yet, but you can do an image with e.g. DiscDump (or any other burning program creating a CUE-SHEET!!) and mount it with PHANTOM CDROM*, the DAEMON Tools Virtual CDROM drive. It will work WITHOUT emulation enabled. In fact if you run a game from a mounted image emulation is ONLY needed for latest Securom games. Safedisc-, Laserlock- and Lockblocks-protected games as well as any other CD using an "unreadable sectors"-protection will run WITHOUT ANY MODIFICATIONS - no emulation, no crackz, just mount the image, install the game from PHANTOM CDROM* and go! Using PHANTOM CDROM* makes NO CD crackz more or less useless. If you choose the smallest installation size you won't need much more disk space than copying whole CD to HD and using a NO CD crack! Audio and Mixed-Mode CDs are supported either but at the moment you need a WDM-compatible soundcard driver to hear the audio tracks.
