Do you want to change the file to .bin in order to burn it of as nero or so or change it to .bin to edit it?

I need to add a patch to it for a ps2 game all I need to do is chaneg clonecd file to a bin file so that I can add the patch

Why not mount the clonecd image onto a daemon tools stealth drive and then read the mounted image with blindread (saving in bin/cue format)?

Rename the .img file to .bin,patch the file and rename back to .img.

Easy.
