A month ago we reported about CDex, a freeware audio extractor. Well CDex 1.40 beta 5 is now released. What's news?
- Genre CDDB field was not set to Unknown when data was retreived from the CDPlayer.ini file
- The edit/Change Track did not always change the latest track data
- Added R3Mix LAME encoder option ( to the quality settings )
- Added the Lame VBR method selection
- The wrong VBR method was used in CDex 1.40 beta 4 ( old instead of VBR_MTRH )
- Added CD Paranoia ripping methods for more secure CD-Ripping and scratch repair
- Fixed CD-Text problem
- Fixed small typo's
CDex is extracts audio tracks from a CD-ROM digitally, and save those files to disk as either regular WAV file or MP3 files. They have now added a Lame VBR option which I think many people wanted.
For the people who didn't see it yet: CD Freaks has a Mp3 DivX 😉 Forum. You can check it here. You can discuss all your mp3 related subjects there with other visitors.
