Can't read my cd's with explorer.

Hi..
i'm very bored with a problem wich is very annoying, i just can't read CD's on my computer with XP, wherever the kind of CD/DVD's i put inside my two CD-R / DVD-R writers (both Lite-on, but the problem was the same with another DVD-R i've get before inside my PC.). If i put a CD inside, and i'll try to read the files on it, the explorer send me a message "K:\ is not accessible, incorrect function" (traduce from french system..). The fun part is i can burn CDs nor DVDs with NERO, wich can be read on other PCs, but not on mine.. I've re-installed the IDE drivers after suppressing them, nothing, i've re-installed the ASPI drivers, nothing more.. I just can't understand what is the problem..
The funniest part is that if i launch foobar, winamp, exact audio copy, NERO before i can use them normally.. i can read audio CD, get them in Ogg format, burn them..

Try cracking open the box. Check the IDE cable (I assume they are IDE drives), jumpers & power cables.

Also check the drives are detected OK in the BIOS.

mmm.. let me explain you.. I can burn.. and i also can listen to audio CD if i start winamp before the CD.. what can i tell more ?? that's not a cable problem nor IDE or whatever, it's XP with something.. don't now what.. I can normally use my PC under Linux (Knoppix CD works fine.).
