Hi there does anybody now how to change the inner circle past -10mm, is there a registery hack or is there any other way. Please let me know if you can achieve this or not.

Yes there is a cure but you're using the wrong setting.
Go to file paper - settings and in there you can define the inner and outer ring settings.
Save this under the disc's you are using as a file name then when you use a different make of disc with different parameters you can make up a new file name for that make.
Just measure the inner and outer diameters carefully and if it is not quite right after the first print run you can go back into the file, edit and resave.

17mm is the smallest inner you can go. 118 is the largest outer. Apart from that it's all pretty much whatever you want. 10mm would be inside the whole of the disc.

I think you'll find that coblck was using the adjust circle size button on the right hand side of the prog. instead of defining the parameters in file/select paper.

New question. I want to be able to print the copyright symbol (small c inside a circle) but get another charater when I try. Anyone have any idease

Any idea on how to change the maximum outer beyond 118?

I really recommend using Nero Cover Designer for CD label printing. The Canon software just provides basics.

That well might be in comparison, but it is easy to use and does the job well.

Cannot be done.
Actually, if you take the time to learn it, the Canon software is more than adequate, and fairly robust in functionality. It certainly excels the offerings from Epson and HP.

If anyone uses a Pixma 3000 like I do and wants to try the Nero software I can give you the perfect offsets/values for exact full-face printing

ok, go to File -> Options / Preferences (or whatever it is called)
change to the tab 'printing' and set overfilling to 0.500mm
the values for paper calibration are -0.400mm horizontal and 0 vertical

took me a while to find these settings. now all of my discs turn out perfectly labeled (centered, no white ring on the outer side)

However, make sure the images (labels) you use are good! they should already be centered and should not have any white boarders.
