Adobe Flash 10.3

Has anyone had a problem with the latest download of Flash. I downloaded it and my graphics started acting up and I could not play anything that needed flash. I had to do a system resore to a earlier date to correct problem...

Perhaps this thread in the Adobe forum may be relevant:

You are correct Dragemester, there are many issues still unresolved with Adobe Flash, they released a beta version code named " Square" that should be released this week.

Re: Adobe Flash 10.3

Square has been in beta for almost a year now. Haven't read on their page that it should be out any time soon.

With Flash Player 10.3, reports indicate that systems with Intel HD Graphics adapters running Internet Explorer 9 are the only systems impacted by this particular bug.
Sounds like you have Intel HD and since there is no hardware listing on your side we only can guess what your Rig is running to cause the problem??? Giving a hardware and software driver listing would go a long way to resolve your particular problem as well. Also I never do web update but download the full offline to install that how I avoid problem web update. Also I have Intel GM on my laptop and haven't notice any problem on my system with graphics. Also which version of flash did you download would be helpful as well. I downloaded the debug version for both IE and FF and they work just fine for me. I never download just standard for me the debug version seems to work better even if I don't debug.

Re: Adobe Flash 10.3

In my system the problem only shows up when I play in full screen mode and this computer is an AMD based one.

I have an Intel based computer, in fact I have 3. I have a 980X system, I have a 2600K system and a 9550 LGA 775 system, and they are all running Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate and they all have Explorer 9 installed and they all have problems with the V 10.3 of the Flash Player.

Re: Adobe Flash 10.3

Disabling of the software rendering in Internet Explorer 9 gave me no picture at all.

Same here I don't have any problem with flash plugins with either IE9 or FF4 but if those having problems running flash would provide a link or where they were when they experienced the graphics problem that would better show the rest what they are talking about. So any links for others to test where others say they are having problems?

Re: Adobe Flash 10.3

Instead of restoring the entire system, it should be considered to simply uninstall Flash. Adobe has published an uninstaller here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
I'd recommended to run this uninstaller twice in order to get rid of both, the ActiveX for MSIE and the Plug-In for all other browsers.
