About copying the protected DVD

Introduction:
Today I borrowed a DVD from a friend and wanted to copy them for backup. Using some copy DVD software like nero, showing "prohibit copying DVDs, and it can not be read."
Copy several folders onto the blank DVD-R by force, but they can not be played.
Can’t the protected DVD be copied?

Can’t the protected DVD be copied?
Unfortunatly since you don't own it even if they let you borrow it we can't help you on that part. That is the forum rules when you signed on.
